Quality Pet Sitting
After boarding our dogs and having bad experiences with the quality of their care, I began searching the phone book and other online resources for a legitimate business that offered in-home pet sitting. After a month or so with no avail, a friend recommended that I start my own business and Playful Pups & Carefree Cats was born. After getting some of the basics of the business lined up, I was referred to Women's Enterprise to help me with the next stages of growing my business. With the help of Women's Enterprises Fast Track Business Plan Course, I now have a complete, professional business plan. I am also still being helped from Barb Johnson in seeking financial support so that I may continue to grow the business. Playful Pups & Carefree Cats offers pet owners a chance to leave their furry friends in the environment they are most comfortable in - their own home. Many animals feel anxiety when they are taken out of their home and are put with strangers. This anxiety can lead to lack of eating, sleeping, vomiting, and diarrhea. With our in-home pet sitting, all of this can be avoided. We also offer pet owners dog-walking and pet concierge services. Our pet concierge services include letting the dog out in the middle of the day and taking your pet to the vet or the groomers.
My advice to new entrepreneurs would be to seek help early so that you avoided making any unnecessary mistakes.
